The colors jump out at you!

It's not hard to identify the Southwest creations of Tucson artist Susan Libby: greens, reds, purples, yellows -- all brilliant.

But then she balances incredible detail with plants and animals with complementary white spaces to bring everything together.

Susan's works are the newest addition to Sibley's West: The Chandler and Arizona Gift Shop.

We feature six of her 10-packs of greeting card designs, plus eight of her holiday boxes.

We also have her new two-mask package, each of which features one of her pieces printed on cloth, along with a small tote for carrying.

Susan's art is primarily in acrylics and watercolors.

It encompasses clear and vivid colors reflecting the natural world.

As a native of Arizona, as well as having lived across the country, Susan says much of her art is inspired by wildlife and the outdoors, portraying gentle and often humorous images.

In her mind, "Art soothes the soul."

Susan has a degree in commercial art and speech communications and was a commercial artist for years.

She then began her wonderful journey into the world of painting.

She has illustrated books, participated in numerous gallery and juried exhibits across the country, and sells her card line throughout Arizona. She participates in several fine art festivals locally each year, with numerous special events.

She also teaches art.
