Saturday, Sept. 15: Book-signing event with Dave Munsey ("Munsey Business") from noon to 2 pm. The annual Rockin' Taco Street Fest event will take place at the Downtown Stage from noon to 9 pm.
Saturday, Sept. 22: Book-signing event with local author Ken Blaisdell ("The Wives of Logan's Point") from noon to 2 pm.
Saturday, Sept. 29: Book-signing event with local author Margaret Spence ("Lipstick on the Strawberry") from noon to 2 pm. The annual Oktoberfest will take place at the Downtown Stage from 3 to 11 pm.
 
October 2018
 
Saturday, Oct. 6: "Peach & Friends" children's author event at Sibley's West from 11 am to 1 pm. Featuring Kathy Peach ("The Tiniest Tumbleweed") and eight other local authors, plus ArtiSands crafting. Readings, puppets, coloring activities and snacks.
 
Saturday, Oct. 13: Concours d'Elegance Jaguar Car Show, 9am to 3 pm, San Marcos Place.
 
Saturday, Oct. 20: Sibley's West Fall Sale.
 

Wednesday, Oct. 24: Sibley's West Book Club discussion with noted Chandler surgeon and cancer specialist Dr. Edgar Hernandez from 6:30 to 8 pm. The focus of this book club is Dr. Hernandez's second book, "Earth Angel with a Green Card." It's the story of his mother and follows his first book, "On the Border of a Dream." Sign up at the store (encouraged).

Saturday, Oct. 27: Book-signing event with local author Paul Scharbach ("Phoenix Past & Present") from 11 am to 1 pm. Chevys in the Park Car Show from 9 am to 2 pm, San Marcos Place.

Saturday, Nov. 3: Book-signing event with Marshall Trimble, state historian, from noon to 2 pm. Also, book-signing event with author Jim West and with Beve Cole and Ray Odom from 2 to 4 pm.
