March 2: "Cancer Can. Cancer Cannot" storyboard display and interactive banner, 10 am to 2 pm at Sibley's West with Chandler author Lynne Hartke. Visitors are invited to share thoughts on a banner that will be displayed at the April 27-28 Relay for Life at Basha High School. Chandler Public Safety Day and Car Show, 9 am to 1 pm, Chandler Police Department parking lot.

March 9: Award-winning children's author Conrad Storad joins our "Peach & Friends" event from 11 am to 2 pm. Meet five other authors, enjoy readings and games and help with Peach's efforts to fund books for the Children's Cancer Network backpack program.

March 8-10: Chandler Ostrich Festival, Tumbleweed Park.

March 16: Arizona State Historian Marshall Trimble returns to Sibley's West for an afternoon of storytelling and songs connected with his new book, "Arizona Oddities: The Land of Anomalies and Tamales," from 1 to 3 pm. Then meet Stuart of Precious Sauces hot sauces for sampling from 3 to 5 pm.

March 20: Join Chris Sossaman of Tea Royalty for a free tea event at Sibley's West, 5 to 7 pm. Titled "Tea 2019," the discussion will focus on trends in teas, Chris's products, the best ways to enjoy tea, and new things to try.

March 23: Book-signing event with Rodo Sofranac, author of The Red Tail Tale on the Arizona Trail, from 1 to 3 pm. The Arizona Trail Association marks its 25th anniversary in 2019.

March 30: Great American Beer and BBQ Festival, noon to 9 pm, downtown stage.

April 5-6: Chandler Jazz Festival, downtown stage.

April 7: Corvettes in the Park car show, Downtown Chandler.

April 20: Southwest Cajun Fest, 12 to 9 pm, downtown stage.

April 27: Arizona Spirits Festival, 12 to 9 pm, downtown stage.
